Meg Auchenbach has been writing and illustrating books since she was a little girl. If You Are an Artist is her debut picture book and is inspired by her former career as an elementary art teacher. She holds a B.F.A. in painting from Arcadia University, and an M.F.A. in Illustration/Visual Communication from Marywood University. She lives in Eastern Pennsylvania with her husband, two children, and their dog and cat.
